This purpose of this short course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to prepare and serve espresso and other related beverages using commercial espresso coffee equipment in the hospitality industry. It is also a great course for those interested in making wonderful coffee at home.
Select and grind coffee, extract coffee, texture milk, serve and present espresso coffee, clean and maintain espresso machine.
Student will receive nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in SITHFAB204 Prepare and serve espresso coffee.
Upon successful completion of prepare and serve espresso coffee, participants will be qualified to gain employment in a range of hospitality environments including coffee shops.
Students must complete SITXFSA101 Use hygienic practices for food safety, prior to attending this course.
Participants are required to wear closed in, non-slip shoes to the training course.
