This accredited course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to an electrical emergency using a low voltage rescue kit and perform CPR on a casualty who has stopped breathing. Suitable for electricians needing a CPR/LVR certificate for work.

Entry Requirements

It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor. Appropriate clothing will need to be considered due to the nature of practical assessment.


Program delivery is face to face in a small group training environment.


This Low Voltage Rescue Course is run over a period of 4 hours face-to-face. There is no mandatory pre-course learning prior to training. Duration may vary depending on group bookings.

Award Issued

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the Statement of Attainment for: UETTDRRF06B Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel including HLTAID001 Provide CPR.

Recommended Requirements

It is recommended this unit be renewed every 12 months in line with industry standards.

NOTE: Some organisations require LVR to be re-assessed every six months.  Please check with your employer.
