This qualification reflects the role of Housekeeping attendants working in commercial hospitality establishment.
This program will provide a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. It provides the opportunity for specialization in accommodation services.
Students successfully completing all the listed competencies will achieve a Statement of Attainment for the Housekeeping Skills set.
Upon successful completion participants will be qualified to seek employment in a range of hospitality environments including:
- Housekeeper in various commercial facilities
There are no pre-requisites for entry to this qualification, however FNTC has the following selection criteria for this course. As part of the course you will need to be able to communicate effectively in English and, have sound literacy and numeracy skills
A Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment must be completed to ensure course requirements can be met.
The course will be conducted over a minimum of 4 weeks on site in a Resort or Hospitality establishment.

Refunds must be requested in writing, seven days prior to withdrawal. Withdrawal request must be made on the withdrawal request form. This must be signed by the student and if applicable a referring third party. Units will be refunded on a unit by unit basis for all non-completed units.
